          Leading Cancer Specialist to give Presentation on Breast and Prostate Cancer at a Public Event held by University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust
          Leading UH Bristol clinical oncologist Dr Amit Bahl will be
giving a presentation on the basics of breast and prostate cancer
and looking at new advances in surgery, radiotherapy and systemic
therapy at a Members for Medicine event at 6pm on Thursday 9
February.  Dr Bahl will also be taking questions from the
floor following his talk and all are welcome to attend.
The presentation will be held in Lecture Theatre 1 at UH
Bristol's Education Centre, Upper Maudlin Street, Bristol BS2 8AE
(opposite the BRI).
Medicine for Members is a series of presentations given by UH
Bristol clinicians.  In the past these talks have been
restricted to members of UH Bristol; and now the Membership Council
has decided to widen participation by inviting members of the
public to attend.
Patient governor Suzanne Green says:  "Cancer touches the
lives of many people in all communities and this talk will be of
great interest to a wide range of people, both as patients and
family members."
