Ward C705

C705 team

Ward C705 (was ward 51) is a yellow ward with 24 beds, eight side rooms and four four-beded bays. We are a mixed cardiac ward and specialise in adult congenital heart disease.

We have a number of specialist nurses, including tissue viability, arrhythmia, heart failure, acute coronary syndrome and cardiac rehab.  They have a variety of interests including learning difficulties, dementia and wound care.

Ward rounds are carried out first thing in the morning and then an individual care plan is made. We encourage patients to be involved in discharge planning as soon as possible.Ward 51

Friends and family test

From April 2013, patients maybe asked some simple questions about their stay to identify if they would recommend a particular ward to their friends and family. The results of this friends and family test will be used to improve the experience of patients by providing timely feedback alongside other sources of patient feedback.
