Brushes for Hearing Aids
If you work in a dusty environment, use hairspray often or have
dandruff, it may be worth considering purchasing a hearing aid
brush to clean the hearing aid microphone ports. You can buy a
brush from our private shop that is in the reception of the
audiology department in Southmead or St Michael's hospital. Below
is a diagram of the brush:

It is recommended to use the brush to sweep away dust and debris
from the front and back microphone ports of the hearing aid. Below
shows where the microphone ports are usually located on the hearing
aids:
