About us

The Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI) is a teaching hospital with close links to Bristol University and provides acute medicine and surgery, critical care, trauma, orthopaedic and accident and emergency services to the population of Bristol. It also provides the centre for cardio-thoracic services for the south west and for cystic fibrosis care in the Severn area.

If you require the services of an interpreter during a hospital visit, the Trust has a team of interpreters whose services we can call upon. Depending on the circumstances, staff may also use a telephone interpreting service as an alternative.
