I
was appointed as a Consultant Haematologist inBristolin 2001 having
previously spent time as a consultant at the Hospital of
theUniversityofPennsylvania,Philadelphia. I trained
atWestminsterMedicalSchooland carried out most of my training and
an MD inLondon. My major clinical interests are in myeloma and
other plasma cell disorders and in high dose therapy and stem cell
transplantation for haematological malignancies. I have been
Associate Clinical Director for haematology since March 2004. From
2005-10, I was also lead doctor for haematology, oncology and
palliative care. I was also Chair of the Avon, Somerset and
Wiltshire Cancer Network Haematology Site Specific Group and am
currently Chair of the UK Myeloma Forum.
