Today we took part in an Archery session! We learnt to shoot a bow and arrow, played points games with the targets and attempted to shoot balloons from a distance!

We had our quarterly jewellery making workshop today with the lovely Fliss from 'for frocks sake' We made beautiful bracelets and were inspired to have a go at home too :)

Today we went to Glastonbury for a pre festival tour of the site. We had a coach tour taking us round the various areas; we saw the main stage, the Tipi's, the children's area, the big Arcadia spider and the Glamping area which seemed particularly appealing but Very expensive!! We had coffee and cakes in the Staff area which was lovely and laid out with flowers in vintage tea cups.

Some of us were brave enough to use the 'long drops' Festival toilets (use your imagination!)

 At the end Michael Eavis himself came to meet us and let us have a photo taken with him, it was great as none of us had been to the festival before but most of us wanted to try and get tickets for next year!

 We have just come back from four days of Sailing round the Isle of Wight with the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust! We had an amazing, slightly tiring time with plenty of high jinks on the open seas! We had water fights, BBQ's, cooking competitions, kite flying and rounders! We made friends, discovered new talents, helmed boats and laughed a lot.

What an experience! We did not want to come home…….
