The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children is a
specialist tertiary hospital caring for children from the
South West and beyond and is the largest specialist
Children's Hospital in the South West and Wales. All
specialist
children's services are accommodated a single, state-of-the-art
children's hospital which provides continuity of care by
bringing together dedicated and specialist clinical teams
under one roof. Our paediatric specialities include Burns,
Plastics, Trauma, Renal, Bone Marrow Transplant, Oncology,
Haematology, Cardiac and Neurosciences. We are also home to a
busy Children's Emergency Department, medical and
surgical wards, the regional Paediatric Intensive Care Unit,
and High Dependency Beds distributed across the hospital.

Above & Beyond, the Bristol children's hospital
charity, raises funds that will make a real difference to
the children who are patients and their families from
Bristol and beyond. We fundraise each year and invest
some £3 million in projects across Bristol's university
hospitals to improve the hospital environment, fund innovative
research, support and train hospital staff and provide
state-of-the-art equipment. Above and Beyond has provided
pump-priming funding to make the Faculty of Children's
Education a reality putting children and their families at the
heart of everything they do.
