COVID-19
The Early Pregnancy Clinic is taking the following
precautions in view of the COVID-19 pandemic:
- One person may accompany the patient to appointment. You
will be advised when you attend whether or not someone is able
to join the patient for any ultrasound scans as this is constantly
under review.
- We ask that the patient and anyone accompanying them
wear a face covering at all time unless exempt.
- Social distancing is in place in our waiting
area.
- Our staff wear appropriate PPE and extra cleaning of
equipment and rooms is taking place before, after and throughout
the clinic.
- There may be a longer wait within the clinic due to the
COVID-19 precautions and we thank you for your patience.
- Not all women with symptoms will need to be seen in the
clinic. You may have a telephone consultation first and be offered
a face-to-face appointment if necessary.
