What we do

Our service

We provide comprehensive, specialist services for the diagnosis, staging, treatment and hospital care of patients with upper gastrointestinal (UGI) cancers. UGI cancers include oesophageal, stomach, liver, pancreas, gall bladder and bile duct cancers.Patients can be treated at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.

Macmillan Cancer Support Workers

The Macmillan Cancer Support Workers is based in the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre and works with the Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) to provide information and support to patients and families affected by cancer. This support maybe financial or practical and may include signposting to other services in the community. This role is part of Macmillans Rehabilition and Support team.
