Dietetics

A Dietetic service is available to all inpatients to support changes to nutritional needs as a result of treatment or to support special dietary requirements such as allergies.

Children are seen according to clinical priority. The service can be contacted on 0117 342 8802.

The hospital food service is able to provide options for special diets such as gluten and lactose free from our standard menu.  The ward housekeeper or hotel services assistant will be happy to advise you on what additional products are available or you can ask to speak to the Hotel Services Manager.

The hospital supports protected mealtimes to allow children who are eating to have their meals without interruption.
