By rail/bus
If you are travelling to Bristol by rail the Cityline bus
company operate services 8 and 9 from Temple Meads Station. You
should pick up the service from the station approach and get off at
the stop in Cotham Road which is just opposite the hospital.
By coach
There is a hospital free bus (see below) which stops outside the
Eye Hospital located next to the coach station
By hospital free bus
University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust operate a free
bus service linking the hospitals in the city centre in partnership
with the university. The service is available to patients,
students, staff and visitors. If you are a new patient, a leaflet
will be enclosed in your new patient pack giving details of the
service. Existing patients can receive further details by
contacting the hospital or picking up a timetable in the reception
area.
Car parking
There are no general car parking spaces available for patients but
we do have a pre bookable space available for disabled patients and
for those with temporary mobility problems. Please contact the
reception on 0117 973 1231 to book the space in advance. The space
is not accessible from the main entrance to the hospital but is
reached via Tyndalls Park Road by turning into the driveway for
Tyndalls Park Childrens Centre.

you are attending prior to your first appointment. For all matters
