Access to the Bristol Heart Institute

By Car

From Upper Maudlin Street -In front of the main entrance to the BRI at the traffic lights, turn into the car park under the building between the Women's & Children's Hospital and the main entrance. Follow the road up the ramp on the left of this car park, winding round and take the left turning up the hill onto Terrell Street. The Institute is on your right hand side.

Via Horfield Road, off St Michael's Hill - Take the turning sign-posted into the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre car park, then bear left and walk down the slope.  (Please note this is one-way coming up Terrell Street and you may meet ambulances coming up from A&E and the Heart Institute so please take care.) The Bristol Heart Institute will be straight in front of you; follow the road around to the right and the entrance will be immediately on your left.

Please take care around the site as it is not pedestrianised and there are emergency vehicles sometimes required to travel at swift speeds.

On-Site Parking

Public Parking

Please note there is no parking on-site at the Institute, aside from a limited number of disabled bays at the front of the building and a 'drop-off/pick-up' area. Unfortunately you are unable to park and wait in this area as our ambulances require immediate and 24-hr access.

There is limited on-street parking nearby and a multi-storey car park about 10 minutes walk away in Park Row (Trenchard Street).
