Refreshments
There is a WRVS kiosk on the entrance level of the Eye Hospital where patients / visitors and staff can buy snacks, hot & cold drinks etc. The kiosk is open 10.00 am until 3.45 pm Monday - Thursday and Friday mornings.
Vending machines for hot and cold drinks and snacks are situated in the main reception area.
The Eye Hospital does not have a cafe but a self-service restaurant is situated across the road in the Old Building, Bristol Royal Infirmary. Reception staff will be able to direct you.
You are welcome to use the shops and dining facilities in any other UH Bristol hospital. Please see the individual hospital sites for opening hours.
Smoking
Bristol Eye Hospital operates a no smoking policy throughout the building.
Chapel
Visitors and patients have access to the Chapel in the BRI Old Building - directly opposite the Eye Hospital main entrance.
Telephones
There are payphones on the Ground Floor and on Gloucester Ward (Third Floor). Mobile phones are now permitted within most areas of the hospital but you should check with staff first.
