Events at Bristol Eye Hospital

The hospital has a regular patient support group. The group is normally held on the first Monday of the month but please call to check the dates if it's your first time attending as occasionally the date is changed. Previously we have had speakers including a retinal consultant, a glaucoma consultant, Action for blind, a dietician, hospital managers and Age UK. Please see below for upcoming groups. You need so book so please call Laura on 0117 342 9097 or Mary on 0117 342 9098.

2nd February 2017. (10.30-Midday. Meet from 10am for refreshments) -Action for Blind People. Meet in the first floor waiting room of Bristol Eye Hospital.

3rd April 2017. (10.30-12.30pm. Meet from 10am for refreshments)Glaucoma talk. BEH consultant (tbc) Fiona Grey, lead optometrist for glaucoma. Meet in the first floor waiting room of Bristol Eye Hospital.

18th April 2017. (11am-3pm. Meet from 10.45am for refreshments)Macular degeneration roadshow. Clare Bailey, AMD specialist. Ben Phipps, head optometrist for AMD. Many different stalls from organisations related to eye health, rehabilitation and more. The Education Centre, Upper Maudlin Street (Opposite the BRI)
