2016 Governor Elections - Voting opens

Voting in the Council of Governors Elections is opening on 28 April 2016. You can see which candidates are standing for the contested seats here (Notice of Poll). There are contested seats in the Public-Bristol, Patient-Local, Patient-Carers of patients 16 years and over, and Staff - Non-clinical constituencies. You will be able to vote in the governor elections if you are a Foundation Trust member in any of these constituencies. Voting will close at noon on Tuesday 24 May 2016.

Online Voting - For the first time, we are offering you the opportunity to vote online. If you are eligible to vote, you should receive a letter or an email with a link to the election website and your unique security codes. If you have any questions about this process, please contact University Hospitals Bristol Membership Team by phone on 0117 342 3763 or email

Nominations were open from 7 March 2016 to 6 April 2016, and the ballot will take place from 28 April 2016 to 24 May 2016.
